Neil & Jackie have been involved in holiday letting since they bought their first cottage in Seahouses, Northumberland in 1991.

They used it as their own holiday home, and also rented it when they weren’t using it. To say it was popular is an understatement, to the point that their returning guests booked so often they had difficulty finding time at the cottage for themselves.

That’s when they decided to move to the area permanently and set up a holiday business full time.  Over the years that not only involved buying properties, renovating them, and renting them, but also doing the same for other people, property sourcing & new build - establshing a thriving portfolio of over 80 holiday cottages and apartments.  

In 2019 after over 20 years, the portfolio business was sold, but Jackie & Neil have retained their own small portfolio of 6 holiday rental properties and a successful touring caravan site, and have also retained a small dedicated team who have been with them through their journey, to help run the personal portfolio.

Why book direct and not through one of the big agencies - because other than the one we sold, we don’t use them.
We do list on a number of channels, and have a presence on social media and some specialist directories,  but we’ve retained the booking process so we have complete control of the administration, and  day to day liaison with guests and enquirers.
